The climate in my country Finland, well, is not for me. I have always wanted to live in a warm place. The scene in this painting represents a dream I have had for as long as I can remember. But now that I think of it, it is quite obvious. The painting above, the one I copied, I am particularly attached to for some reason, I never really asked myself why. His paintings are all incredibly innovative and playful. Maybe that’s why I am so drawn to his art. I consider myself quite a sunny person and can identify with this man. They are perfect reflections of his personality. At first I was a bit surprised about his humorous and sunny appearance, but after a while it made perfect sense. His paintings were just like him. I found a video of Bato painting a landscape en plein air. I can’t remember when I was last as moved by an artist. I’m pretty sure a painting of his will light up a room!Įven though his brushstrokes are often quite bold, the result is most delicate. Ever. His art appears to be illuminated by an inner light source. The light in Bato Dugarzhapov’s work is the most impressing I have ever seen. Surfing around Pinterest, I came across this a m a z i n g Russian artist, Bato Dugarzhapov.ĭugarzhapov paints in oil, mostly landscapes but also some still lifes and figures. I know in my heart, that there are important lessons to learn from him. I want to know more about the artist, study his work. Online, Pinterest is my favorite place for art surfing.Įvery now and then I come across an artist whose artwork I instantly feel drawn to. I find it inspiring as well as educating.
